Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to support commercial contracting, compliance, and regulatory matters across the full lifecycle of life sciences drug development, while also assisting in corporate governance, BD transactions, and legal due diligence to enable risk-informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating daily commercial contracts (in both Chinese and English), including but not limited to CRO/CDMO service agreements, preclinical and clinical service agreements, procurement, supplier, and consulting agreements.
- Support corporate regulatory and compliance matters, including implementation and maintenance of compliance policies covering data compliance, human genetic resources compliance, GxP, pharmacovigilance, and other life-science-specific compliance areas.
- Support investment and financing (fundraising) as well as business development (BD) transactions, and assist in legal due diligence processes.
- Participate in and support investment and financing projects as well as business development (BD) transactions.
- Handle corporate governance and related legal affairs.
- Continuously track industry regulatory and business developments, and assist in standardizing legal service processes and capability building within the team.
Qualifications
- Education & Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or above from a leading law school in China or abroad; qualified through the PRC Legal Professional Qualification Examination, or holding a U.S. legal license (e.g., Massachusetts / New York / California).
- Experience: 4–8 years of legal experience in top-tier law firms (leading domestic “Red Circle” firms, first-tier domestic firms, or international firms) or reputable in-house legal departments; experience in life sciences or healthcare industry preferred.
- Languages: Fluent in both Chinese and English, with English as a working language.
- Others: Possess mature business acumen and strong initiative; responsible, detail-oriented, and reliable, with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; highly curious and passionate about life sciences and frontier technologies, with strong learning ability and a proactive mindset.
