We are seeking a motivated Associate Scientist, Biology to join our team. This role will support in vitro and in vivo pharmacology and mechanistic studies to advance our oligonucleotide therapeutics programs, working closely with cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on expertise in a structured research environment while contributing to ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate drug efficacy.
  2. Participate in the design and execution of mechanistic studies, including biomarker-related assays.
  3. Perform molecular and cellular biology experiments, including but not limited to nucleic acid extraction, PCR, ELISA, and Western blot.
  4. Develop analytical methods as required by project plans.
  5. Perform sample testing in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  6. Complete testing tasks as planned; accurately record, analyze, and upload experimental data.
  7. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
  8. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Biology, Pharmacology, or related field.
  2. Solid foundation in molecular biology and pharmacology.
  3. Experience in preclinical drug evaluation (in vitro and/or in vivo) preferred.
  4. Familiarity with animal studies and standard analytical techniques.
  5. Ability to read and understand scientific literature in English preferred.
  6. Detail-oriented, responsible, and highly motivated with strong teamwork skills.
